DAVIS, Calif., October 2, 2026. Sierra Energy today highlighted Scott Kraynak’s leadership as President and Chief Executive Officer, a role he has held since March 24, 2025. Kraynak leads the company’s commercialization and project-development strategy for FastOx® gasification technology, which is designed to convert waste into synthesis gas for downstream energy and fuel applications.

“Our focus is to translate Sierra Energy’s technology into economically viable projects that serve customers and communities through disciplined engineering, project development and collaboration,” Kraynak said.
Kraynak has more than 30 years of experience in project development and execution, engineering, supply-chain management and process technology.
